Tonight’s Nationals-Mets lineups

The Nationals will use their same lineup as yesterday against the Mets, which includes Bryce Harper in center field. During early practice, Harper squatted behind the plate and practiced a throw to second base, surely just for old time’s sake. (The Nationals have said they will not let Harper, a catcher growing up, play behind the plate even in an emergency.)

Sandy Leon, notably, is also making the throws. He’s recovering from a high-ankle sprain and has also been taking batting practice. The Nationals are facing Mets rookie Jeremy Hefner, who took Johan Santana’s place as he receives extra rest to recover his 134-pitch no-hitter.
