Tonight’s Nationals-Phillies lineups

The Nationals are set to begin their highly anticipated series in Philadelphia. In the outfield, Stephen Strasburg was playing Frisbee with a handful of other pitchers. That would seem to be a sign that the soreness in his right arm Davey Johnson alluded to yesterday is not a big deal.

Meantime, reliever Brad Lidge made the trip with the Nationals and played catch, getting out to about 200 feet and throwing his final tosses at, or at least close to, full strength from 60 feet on flat ground. Lidge has said he’s aiming to return from hernia surgery in the second or third week of June, but he seemed to be throwing well here.
