Dunbar girls’ track team runs with more confidence in skorts

From today’s Post: The track team shorts at Dunbar High School made female athletes uncomfortable and self-conscious. So their coach Marvin Parker decided to replace the shorts with skorts: black compression shorts with a miniskirt over top.

“The skort uniform is great because it actually covers everything up,” says one Dunbar junior.

Sports writer Carl Little describes how Parker’s idea for a change in uniform improved the self-confidence of his athletes.
