Entrepreneurs sign Declaration of Internet Freedom: A pair of technology entrepreneurs have created the “Declaration of Internet Freedom,” a movement against proposed online security laws like SOPA, PIPA and CISPA. Already this week, more than 100 people and organizations have signed the petition.

IMF warns of future U.S. recession: The International Monetary Fund published a report on Tuesday that suggests the U.S. could fall into another recession if pending tax hikes and spending cuts take effect as scheduled. The group urged elected officials to quickly raise the debt ceiling and fix the Social Security system.

Factory orders tick higher: American factories saw orders rise 0.7 percent in May, the first improvement in three months, according to the latest data released Tuesday by the Commerce Department. The median forecast of economists in a Bloomberg News survey had called for a rise of only 0.1 percent.
