Those unable to attend the events in person can find free online mentoring through the Service Corps of Retired Executives, an SBA partner.

Karen Mills, administrator of the SBA, plans to attend a session held in Jacksonville, Fla.

“Many new entrepreneurs are saving their best acts for their encore performance,” Mills said. “They’re using their decades of expertise and their connections to start new businesses and to finally pursue that venture that has been stirring their dreams for all these years.”
