The Washington Post

Charlie Crist, attorney at law

Once upon a time, Charlie Crist was a golden boy. A star. He was a Republican governor of Florida with national ambitions. The very definition of tall, dark (from the sun) and handsome with a head full of white (nicely styled) hair. Crist was going to ride his record all the way to a seat in the U.S. Senate. But he hugged President Obama, who visited Florida right after his inauguration. Everything went downhill after that.

Or so I thought.

That’s right. Crist has gone from asking for votes to asking for business “if you need help sorting out your legal issues as a result of an accident or insurance dispute.” So sad. Kinda makes doing a reality television show look a whole lot less cheesy.
