Friday’s p-Op quiz: ‘Horses and bayonets’ edition

Let’s walk down this week’s memory lane. Mitt Romney became President Obama’s “mini me” on foreign policy. Romney released an ad praising Richard Mourdock in his race for the Senate from Indiana; the next day the candidate said in a debate that a life conceived through rape was “something that God intended to happen.”

Donald Trump’s bombshell against Obama turned out to be a dud. Paul Ryan gave a speech on poverty. And a certain Republican said something impertinent about the president. But that didn’t stop Colin Powell from backing him for another four years.
