What might Anthony Weiner say at 4 p.m.?

Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.) will face the press at 4 p.m. in New York City. Ever since the announcement was made moments ago, folks have been asking what I think he’ll say. Four possibilities come to mind.

ONE: Deny that he is the shirtless wonder in the latest batch of photos from Andrew Breitbart and the author of some steamy Facebook messges.

TWO: Admit that he is the shirtless wonder and the author of those Facebook messages.

THREE: Do TWO and resign.

FOUR: Do TWO and say he intends to stay. After all, if Sen. David Vitter (R-La.) can stay after patronizing prostitutes, which is illegal, why should Weiner resign for being a pig, which is not illegal?

We’ll find out the real deal at 4 p.m. Whatever Weiner says, my heart goes out to his wife and family. This is humiliating. And Weiner getting in this mess was totally unnecessary.
