North Korea’s racist rant against ‘wicked black monkey’ Obama

Did Ted Nugent move to North Korea? I wonder because of the super hot racist rhetoric aimed at President Obama by the Hermit Kingdom’s state-run media. In a January interview with guns.com, Nugent called the president “a Chicago communist-raised, communist-educated, communist-nurtured subhuman mongrel.” But that’s nuthin’ compared to what Obama was called in an article published by the North’s state-run news agency.

As The Post’s Chico Harlan reports, this piece published on May 2 almost escaped notice because it hadn’t been translated into English by the Korean Central News Agency. Thanks to blogger Josh Stanton we know the depth of Pyongyang’s racist hate. An earlier piece translated into English which called Obama a “wicked black monkey” is tame compared to what the untranslated harangue said. Here are some choice descriptions of the president.

“clown”
“dirty fellow”
“does not even have the basic appearances of a human being.”
“He is a crossbreed with unclear blood.”
Obama “still has the figure of monkey while the human race has evolved through millions of years.”
“It would be perfect for Obama to live with a group of monkeys in the world’s largest African natural zoo and lick the bread crumbs thrown by spectators.”

Charming. And this is coming from a nation whose leader reportedly requires men to sport his “I lost a bet” haircut. The White House slammed the comments as “particularly ugly and disrespectful.”

But North Korea’s hatred isn’t only race-based. Oh no. Pyongyang is an equal opportunity bigot. The South Korean President was slurred as an “old prostitute.” Michael Kirby, the openly gay writer of a United Nation’s report on human rights in the land of Kim Jong Un, was branded “a disgusting old lecher with a 40-odd-year-long career of homosexuality.” I’ll admit to bursting out laughing at that last insult. That seems about the right response to such bald bigotry. North Korea’s hate-filled diatribes would be really hilarious if it had neither nukes nor the habit of bringing the crazy to the world stage.
