D.C. police are searching for a man who reportedly made repeated attempts to entice minors in Northwest Washington this week, officials said Thursday night.
On Tuesday, a nude man apparently made overtures to three juveniles inside a swimming pool locker room, police said in a prepared statement.
On Wednesday, a juvenile male told police that he was followed by a man driving a blue, four-door Chevrolet as the youth walked in the 4800 block of 36th Street NW in the North Cleveland Park neighborhood. The man spoke to the youth and repeatedly offered him a ride, police said.
On Monday, police said they got a complaint that a Mount Pleasant man was allegedly in possession of child pornography.
Investigators said a similar description was given for a white man in all three incidents, but they declined to release the description or release further details.
Police also are investigating whether the same man is connected to an April incident in which a man distributed fliers offering tutoring services to boys in the American University Park neighborhood.
