Washington police say a missing Christian outreach worker has been found and is safe.

Police confirmed Sunday that Matthew Hill was found unharmed. The 26-year-old Hill was last seen Tuesday morning near the Verizon Center. His father said he had been in Chinatown that morning to drop off a student he was mentoring. Hill works for Campus Outreach DC and does campus ministry at George Washington University.

Police had classified Hill’s disappearance as a “critical” missing person’s case.
