The District Department of Motor Vehicles will raise several fees Saturday, so there are just a few hours left to get that duplicate license or parking permit at the lower cost.

The increases are designed to help close the District’s budget gap, according to the DMV Web site.

Here are the affected fees:

— Duplicate driver’s license: Will increase from $7 to $20.

— Duplicate learner’s permit: Will increase from $7 to $20.

— Temporary driver’s licences and identification card: Will increase from $7 to $20.

— Change of address: Will increase from $7 to $20.

— Duplicate registration card: Will increase from $7 to $20.

— Reciprocity sticker (Presidential appointees, members of Congress, military, diplomats): Will increase from $10 to $50.

— Residential parking permit: Will increase from $15 to $35.

— Residential parking permit (Seniors): Will increase from $15 to $25.

These increases follow earlier fee hikes that went into effect July 1.
