A man was stabbed Tuesday evening and was found on a Northeast Washington street, D.C. police said.

Authorities were called to the 4200 block of Minnesota Avenue and found the victim suffering from a stab wound about 6:45 p.m., said Officer Paul Metcalf, a spokesman. The man was conscious and breathing, but disoriented, Metcalf said. The injuries were not believed to be life threatening.
