About 100 people were forced out of their homes early Tuesday morning after a fire at an apartment building in Reston.

Fairfax County firefighters responded to the building, located in the 1100 block of Gate Hill Place, around 1 a.m.

No injuries were reported, but it is believed that about 10 of the 18 units in the apartment building were damaged. The Red Cross is assisting the dozens of displaced residents.

The cause of the fire is still unknown.
