There is no electricity in the Prince George's County Administration Building in Upper Marlboro.
Scott Peterson, a spokesman for County Executive Rushern L. Baker III (D), said the power went out about 1 p.m.
“We have some emergency backup power,” Peterson said.
The outage appears to be isolated to the administration building, which has experienced several outages in the past two months. Power has not been affected at the courthouse, which is across the street from the administration building.
