Second man dies from Home Depot parking lot accident

A second pedestrian has died as a result of injuries received when he was struck by a vehicle on Thanksgiving Day in a parking lot in Hyattsville, the Prince George’s County police said.

They said Jose Cristino Sanchez-Rosa, of the 7300 block of Robert Lane in Falls Church has died after being struck in the Home Depot parking lot in the 3300 block of East-West Highway in Hyattsville.

No exact age was available for him, the police said. The date of his death was not given.

Six people were hit when t he car swerved out of control as it was leaving the lot, police have said. They said the driver, 79, suffered a medical emergency.

The conditions of the other four were not available.

The man who was killed on Thanksgiving was identified as Fredys Castillo-Giron, 41, of Hyattsville.

Police said the matter remains under investigation.
