The National Weather Service officials are investigating reports of a tornado in the Washington County community of Maugansville.

Heavy winds in the area Tuesday evening led to damaged roofs, overturned cars and uprooted trees, and deck furniture was also tossed about. Emergency officials closed several streets to clear debris.
