Hylton All-Met senior linebacker E.J. Levenberry, who unofficially committed to Florida State in April, will take an official visit to Oklahoma the weekend of Oct. 27, when the Sooners host Notre Dame.

“E.J. is still committed to Florida State, but we definitely want to keep our options open because you never know what happens in the landscape of college football,” said Eric Levenberry, E.J.’s father.

“You just don’t know what coach will be at what school what year. [Oklahoma] has really shown E.J. that they want him, so it doesn’t hurt to listen.”

The elder Levenberry said that Oklahoma linebackers Coach Tim Kish is expected to attend the Woodbridge-Hylton game Friday night. That game also features Woodbridge All-Met defensive lineman Da’Shawn Hand, considered the top national prospect among juniors.

Levenberry also plans to attend the Florida-Florida State game on Nov. 24, his father said.

Levenberry cannot officially commit to a school until Feb. 6.
