Friendship Collegiate’s Eddie Goldman schedules official visit to Alabama

Friendship Collegiate’s Eddie Goldman, one of the nation’s top football recruits, said he will take an official visit to Alabama to watch the Crimson Tide’s highly-anticipated game against Louisiana State on Saturday.

This will be his second official visit. Goldman, a 6-foot-4, 315-pound lineman, took an official visit to Florida State on Sept. 17 to watch the Seminoles game against Oklahoma.

Goldman, who has offers from virtually every major Division I school in the country, pared down his list of finalists in August to seven schools: Alabama, Auburn, California, Clemson, Florida State, Maryland and Miami.

Goldman is expected to take all five of his allowed official visits.

The eleventh-ranked Knights (8-1) are in a bye week.
