That said, it cannot bode well for Maryland that Britt is ready to make his choice before his high school season begins. During the summer, his father, Nate Sr., said that it would be important to watch new Maryland Coach Mark Turgeon’s style and interaction with players, with the idea that Britt wanted to get to know his future coach well before making a decision.

Britt spent Midnight Madness at North Carolina and Tar Heels Coach Roy Williams made at least two trips to Gonzaga this fall to watch Britt work out.
