Gonzaga F Kris Jenkins visits Penn State, will be at GW while classmate Nate Britt visits North Carolina

Gonzaga junior forward Kris Jenkins visited Penn State this past weekend and will be in attendance Friday night for George Washington’s Colonials Invasion version of midnight madness.

Jenkins, who is 6 feet 6, holds scholarship offers from both of those schools as well as Richmond, Xavier and La Salle. He is also getting interest from St. Joseph’s, according to D.C. Assault Coach Nate Britt Sr., who is Jenkins’s legal guardian.

Jenkins also plans to visit Xavier this fall, Britt said.

Penn State Coach Pat Chambers is plenty familiar with the Washington area from his time as an assistant at Villanova and he previously was the head coach at Boston University. Nittany Lions assistant Keith Urgo is a Gonzaga graduate and worked there as an assistant coach.

Meantime, Britt Sr. said that his son, All-Met point guard Nate Britt, a junior at Gonzaga, will attend midnight madness at North Carolina, which recently offered him a scholarship.
