The towering quarterback excelled in his second full season in the Bulldogs’ single-wing/spread attack, throwing for a school-record 2,473 yards and 28 touchdowns to lead Stone Bridge back to the Virginia AAA Division 5 title game.

Burns faxed in his National Letter-of-Intent at 7:22 a.m. (4:22 in Palo Alto), following in the footsteps of another local Cardinal quarterback — former Gonzaga All-Met Kevin Hogan, who led Stanford to a Rose Bowl victory in January.
