Newt Gingrich dropping by Chef Geoff’s at Tysons Corner Sunday afternoon for a glass of bubbly while Callista Gingrich browsed the Tiffany’s store next door. The GOP candidate and McLean resident (who had a blank campaign schedule between Saturday night and Monday afternoon Iowa stops) lingered in the bar for a few minutes, eyeing a football game on TV and fiddling with his phone. Gray pants, white dress shirt, no tie or jacket. When it turned out the bar didn’t have champagne, he took a glass of Cava. His wife (whose fondness for Tiffany is well-chronicled) wore a navy blue pantsuit and a spectacular diamond ring.
