• Drew Carey dining with 10 friends at Mie n Yu in Georgetown Tuesday night. Turns out the comedian/“Price is Right” host was in town for the Dalai Lama’s 10-day Kalachakra ceremony. (“Great talk by the Dalai Lama,” he tweeted over the weekend. “Don’t need to be Buddhist to buy in.” And later: “[On my way] to another teaching by the Dalai Lama. Don’t know chants/prayers, but won’t be first time I faked my way through a service.”) A few of Carey’s tablemates were clad in traditional robes. Everyone shared a lot of plates.
