• Brad Paisley will headline the July 4 party at the White House Wednesday night — sorry, invited guests only, including about 1,200 service personnel and relatives, officials announced this week, though apparently you can watch it online at It will be the fourth time the Obama White House has played host to the “Salute the Military” concert, organized by the USO. Previous performers include Train and Amos Lee last year; the Killers, Brandi Carlile and Cedric the Entertainer in 2010; and the Foo Fighters and Jimmy Fallon in 2009.
