You may file this in the “least of his problems” category, but on top of everything else, Dominique Strauss-Kahn is way behind on his property taxes. The disgraced former IMF chief and his wife owe $35,556.17 for their Georgetown mansion as of Tuesday, according to the D.C. Office of Tax and Revenue, with the next bill for the first half of 2012 mailing this week. (The New York Post first noted their delinquency.) The home is currently on the market for $4.7 million, down from the asking price of $5.2 million originally sought last fall. Though charges that he attempted to rape an NYC hotel maid were dropped, the former French presidential hopeful was detained for questioning in the investigation of a European prostitution ring.
