What’s the price of scuffling with a fan? Comedian Russell Brand has to perform 20 hours of community service and pay $500 in court fees for grabbing a man’s cell phone while filming a movie in New Orleans this spring, reports the Associated Press. Brand’s attorney claimed his client was “harassed” when the man, traveling with a group of photographers, tried to take his picture; Brand grabbed the phone and threw it into a building, breaking a window. (Who paid for that?) Brand’s attorney said he will probably fulfill the service requirement in England and California.
