Director Francis Ford Coppola walked his daughter down the aisle in the garden ceremony, which took place at the Coppolas’ palazzo in the southern Italian town of Bernalda.

The bride wore a sheer lavender tulle dress by Azzedine Alaia. About 100 people attended the ceremony, among them actor Johnny Depp.

Mars and Coppola have two daughters, Romy, 4, and Cosima, 15 months. Coppola was previously married to filmmaker Spike Jonze but divorced him in 2003.

Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine, 32, tweeted his thoughts about the MTV Video Music Awards on Saturday, a day ahead of the show.

The band was in the District just in time for the earthquake Tuesday; Levine was spotted outside Dupont Circle’s Current Sushi late that night. He and his cohort performed a concert with Train at Merriweather Post Pavilion on Wednesday evening.

Levine tweeted several comments about the quake, among them: “Looks like we brought our California earthquake mojo to DC. Oops.”
