“No offense meant to anyone but [it] doesn’t appear to be somewhere I’m actually wanted or respected.”

Axl Rose declaring that he will not attend his band Guns N’ Roses’ induction Saturday into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, in a letter shared with the L.A. Times Wednesday. In a lengthy epistle recounting various hurts over the years from ex-bandmates, the lead singer asked the Hall of Fame “that I not be inducted in absentia” — but if the rest of the band wants to be recognized, fine by him.
