The Larranaga home in the heady spring of 2006: Neighbors celebrate GMU in Final Four; players cheer their NCAA bid in the green rec room. (Richard A. Lipski; The Washington Post; Ana Pimsler/Potomac News via AP)

Asking price: $1.375 million

Details: The basketball coach and his wife, Liz, bought this five-bedroom Oakton home, new at the time, for $550K in early 1998, shortly after coming to George Mason University. A dozen or so winning seasons later, they’re off to the University of Miami and have just put the old place on the market. Four-and-a-half baths, two-car garage, sunroom, deck — and a rec room currently done up with NCAA pennants and team photos that we’re guessing don’t come with the home. You might be able to keep the GMU green wall-to-wall carpet, though.
