Virginia Thomas, the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, has a new job: journalist. The Daily Caller announced Tuesday the conservative activist has been hired as a “special correspondent” to interview rising political stars. In a statement, Thomas said it was a “privilege” to join a team “filling a niche that the dinosaur media has underserved.” Although Thomas has no prior news experience, website founder Tucker Carlson told us that shouldn’t prevent her from doing the job: “She’s going to do mostly video — and video is an almost entirely transparent medium. You see what the questions are and assess for yourself if they’re fair.” How much is Thomas earning for the part-time gig? “Millions and millions,” Tucker said. We think he’s joking.
