Media and liberal critiques often chide Republicans that their party has no single leader. (Or they pretend cartoonish figures are the “leaders.”) That’s not surprising for the party that doesn’t occupy the White House. But certainly Republicans are taking center stage in budget fights, foreign policy debates and in the pre-primary campaign. Who do you think has risen to the top of the heap and why?
