Inmates repair their lives by repairing books

Now here’s a good idea: Inmates fixing library books.

Below, watch a Capital News Service report about a unique new partnership between Montgomery County’s jails and the library system.

“It makes me feel real good considering the background where I come from and the children didn’t have books or whatnot,” one inmate says.
