The Washington Post

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s a...crab cloud?

We spend so much time looking down at the devices in our hands, but it is amazing what can happen when you look up. For instance, you might see a crab cloud.

Marylanders ingesting Maryland crabs this summer know instinctively why this is cool, but for non-Marylanders let me explain: A crab cloud formed over a city and state known for its crabs!

“Haha, perfect,” one Reddit user replied.

Another said, “and now im hungry.”

Me too. I think I’ll go eat a cloud.
