Md. man syncs Christmas lights to “Call Me Maybe”

Hey, I just met this guy, and this is crazy, but here’s my blog post — and don’t call me maybe.

(I’m so sorry for the above sentence. I was driven to madness and a witless form of flattery by both the subject of this blog post and the song that inspired it. The song of which I write, of course, is “Call Me Maybe,” by Carly Rae Jepsen. You have undoubtedly heard this song 14,689 times this year and perhaps seen the many bizarre homages to it, including the U.S. Olympic Swim Team’s, which is actually sort of endearing if you only watch it once. Now ABC 2 reports that a Bel Air man has rigged his 10,000 Christmas lights to the song. Light lookers can play the tune in their car and watch the lights dance to the lyrics. The man’s neighbor says, “It's like living across the street from Times Square.)
