The stamps of Prince William and Kate Middleton by Britain's Royal Mail. (Royal Mail via Associated Press)

The stamps also include the silhouette of the queen and will be released next month on the monarch’s birthday, April 21. A posting on the official royal wedding Web site noted that the Testino photos were taken Nov. 25, a little more than a week after the engagement was announced.

The stamps will be available in mini-sheets of four and can be purchased alone; with a four-page booklet that has information about William and Kate’s lives and the history of Westminster Abbey, where they are to be married; or even with one of the Royal Mint’s coins honoring the couple.

Royal Mail is accepting preorder requests by phone — see directions here.

The Associated Press notes that William has been featured on British stamps twice already: to mark the 100th birthday of his great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, in 2004, and in honor of his 21st birthday in 2003.
