In other royal news, Sarah Jessica Parker told Glamour that the Duchess of Cambridge was one of her style icons. In a Twitter interview (SJP’s first), she refrenced Kate, as well as Kate Moss and Ingrid Bergman. SJP also revealed her favorite Carrie outfit: the sea-green tutu she wore in the last episode of the series.

SJP is apparently not the only actress to be influenced by the Middleton sisters, though. Lindsey Lohan wore the same Temperley gown to the wedding of Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries that Pippa Middleton wore to the reception of her sister’s nuptials.

Anne Hathaway told the British paper the Sun she would play the role of Kate Middleton if asked. The comment sparked much debate, largely on the subject of Hathaway’s accent.

And as New York Fashion Week nears, along with fall wardrobes, we’re expecting to see many women embracing hosiery for the season. Kate’s adoption of the garment during her North American tour has many wondering whether pantyhose will make a full-fledged comeback.
