Canada’s roster for CONCACAF Gold Cup

As we await the USA roster for the Spain friendly and Gold Cup, Canada has announced its 23-man list for the CONCACAF tournament. The Canadians will play a friendly against Ecuador on June 1 in Toronto before opening group play against the Americans on June 7 at Ford Field in Detroit:

GOALKEEPERS: Lars Hirschfeld (Valerenga, Norway), Milan Borjan (Rad, Serbia), Milan Borjan (Rad).

DEFENDERS: Dejan Jakovic (D.C. United), Jaime Peters (Ipswich Town, England), Kevin McKenna (Cologne, Germany), Andre Hainault (Houston Dynamo), Nik Ledgerwood (WehenWiesbaden, Germany), Mike Klukowski (unaffiliated).

MIDFIELDERS: Julian de Guzman (Toronto FC) Terry Dunfield (Vancouver Whitecaps), Will Johnson (Real Salt Lake), Josh Simpson (Manisaspor, Turkey), Pedro Pacheco (Santa Clara, Portugal), Atiba Hutchinson (PSV Eindhoven, Netherlands), Tosaint Ricketts (Politehnica Timipoara, Romania), Simeon Jackson (Norwich City, England), Marcel de Jong (Augsburg, Germany), Jonathan Beaulieu-Bourgault (Muenster, Germany), Issey Nakajima-Farran (Horsens, Denmark).
