D.C. United vs. Seattle Sounders

Greetings from RFK, where there’s still a bit of sunshine creeping through onto the upper bowl providing a last bit of warmth. The temperature should sit around 60 degrees tonight.

United will look to carry over some momentum from last Friday’s 4-1 win over Dallas. If they win tonight, it will be the first time they’ve won back-to-back games since since June 4 and 13, 2009, a stretch of 84 games.

I’m sure there’s a little extra motivation for D.C. United after former teammate Marc Burch’s comments.

As expected, goalkeeper Bill Hamid not in the 18 tonight. Andy Najar is also not on the bench. He was feeling ill during the week since returning from Olympic qualifying with Honduras.

Defender Brandon McDonald not available after a one-game suspension for his tackle in the FC Dallas
