D.C. United's depth chart

Here’s a look at D.C. United’s depth chart heading into the second stage of preseason Feb. 7-16 in Arizona. Twenty-two players are currently under contract, leaving six to eight slots open. Trials were extended for several players. Other trialists are likely in Arizona.

(Italics indicate a player’s secondary position.)

Goalkeepers: Bill Hamid, Joe Willis.

Right back: Robbie Russell, Chris Korb.

Left back: Daniel Woolard, Chris Korb.

Center backs: Dejan Jakovic, Brandon McDonald, Emiliano Dudar, Ethan White, Conor Shanosky.

Right midfield: Andy Najar, Danny Cruz, Nick De Leon.

Left midfield: Chris Pontius, Nick DeLeon, Branko Boskovic, Danny Cruz.

Defensive midfield: Perry Kitchen, Marcelo Saragosa, Kurt Morsink, Stephen King, Brandon McDonald, Conor Shanosky.

Attacking midfield: Branko Boskovic, Dwayne De Rosario, Stephen King.

Forwards: Hamdi Salihi, Dwayne De Rosario, Maicon Santos, Josh Wolff, Chris Pontius.

For trialists.....

Goalkeepers: Andrew Dykstra, Josh Lambo. (As of Friday, the team wasn’t sure whether Lambo would continue.)

Defenders: Ryan Richter (right back and midfielder who can also play up front).

Midfielders: Seth C’deBaca, Lance Rozeboom.

Forwards: Stefan Jerome.
