Joe Corona hat trick, Freddy Adu adds a goal as United States routs Cuba, 6-0, in Olympic soccer qualifying

Joe Corona recorded a hat trick and Freddy Adu added a superb goal as the U.S. under-23 national team began the CONCACAF Olympic qualifying tournament Thursday with a 6-0 victory over Cuba in Nashville. On Saturday, the Americans will face Canada, which drew with El Salvador, 0-0.

USA lineup: Bill Hamid; Kofi Sarkodie, Ike Opara, Perry Kitchen, Zarek Valentin; Jared Jeffrey (Amobi Okugo 64th), Mix Diskerud, Joe Corona; Freddy Adu, Juan Agudelo (Teal Bunbury 46th), Brek Shea (Joe Gyau 57th).
