Matchnight #12: D.C. United at Galaxy

D.C. United (4-4-3) seeks to extend its MLS unbeaten streak to five Friday night against the front-running Los Angeles Galaxy (8-2-5) at Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif.

Kickoff: 11 p.m. ET.

TV: Fox Soccer Channel.

Absences: The Galaxy’s Landon Donovan (USA) and Donovan Ricketts (Jamaica) and United’s Dejan Jakovic (Canada) are on international duty. United captain Dax McCarty (groin) was downgraded to doubtful earlier in the day and left off the game-day roster.

Jakovic’s hamstring injury, suffered Wednesday against Ecuador, is likely to prevent him from playing in the Gold Cup.
