Matchnight #27: D.C. United vs. Chivas USA

After four away matches, a postponement and a bye week, D.C. United has returned to RFK Stadium for its first home affair in almost six weeks. (Remember that 4-0 pummeling of Vancouver?)

United is just 3-3-6 at East Capitol Street and urgently needs three points tonight against a Chivas USA side that has lost four straight and is 0-4-2 in its past six MLS outings.

The other two league matches tonight will have implications on United’s playoff push: New York hosting Real Salt Lake and Portland welcoming San Jose. (United is rooting for RSL and San Jose victories.)

Kickoff: 7:30 p.m. ET.

TV: Comcast SportsNet in Washington-Baltimore area, Direct Kick.

DCU: Hamid; Kitchen, McDonald, White, Woolard; Najar, Simms, De Rosario, Quaranta; Davies, Wolff.

Subs: Willis, Burch, Barklage, Korb, King, da Luz, Ngwenya.
