Real Madrid, Barcelona set to meet in Copa del Rey final

Real Madrid and Barcelona are soon to get started in the Copa del Rey final (3:30 p.m., GolTV, ESPN Deportes,, the second of the four matches the two rivals will play over 18 days. It’s the sixth time the two have played in the final, their last meeting in 1990. Barcelona has won it 25 times, while Real Madrid has 17 titles (none since 1993).

Taking the mantle from the recently deceased Paul, Iker the oracle octopus has picked Real Madrid to win after correctly picking the teams to tie in their last matchup on Saturday.

Real Madrid legend Alfredo Di Stefano called out his old team after Saturday’s game: "It's clear Barca were superior to Madrid . . . they were a team with no personality. Their approach was clearly wrong."

Barcelona captain Carles Puyol didn't practice on Tuesday but should be healthy enough to play today, the team said.
