Real Madrid vs. Barcelona in Champions League semifinal

Good afternoon.

Real Madrid and Barcelona will meet at 2:45 p.m. today (FX, Fox Deportes,; encore at 5 p.m. on Fox Soccer Channel) in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semifinal.

It’s the third of four meetings between the two rivals in the past two weeks, and they’ll meet again in the second leg next week at Barcelona.

Check out a Real Madrid-Barcelona photo gallery.

The teams are meeting in the Champions League for the first time since the 2002 semifinals, which were won by Real Madrid.

Barcelona Coach Pep Guardiola and Real Madrid Coach Jose Mourinho had a verbal slap-fight over the referees in the run-up to the game.

Guardiola will have to adjust without midfielder Andres Iniesta, who is out with an injured right calf.

Iker the octopus is going with Real.
