Video: USA women qualify for Under-20 World Cup with three superb goals

The United States qualified for the Under-20 Women’s World Cup in Japan in August with a 4-0 semifinal victory over Mexico on Friday in Panama. (The Americans then won the CONCACAF title by defeating Canada, 2-1, on Sunday.) The last three goals against Mexico were of high quality, all from beyond the penalty area and all to the upper right corner: Morgan Brian from the University of Virginia (1:32 mark on the video), North Carolina recruit Lindsey Horan (1:58) and UNC’s Kealia Ohai (3:45).
