In July, the Women’s Professional Soccer Players Union filed a grievance with the league against magicJack owner Dan Borislow. It took issue with his conduct as an executive and acting coach and accused him of violations of the FIFA Code of Ethics, the league’s media policy and coaching requirements.
The grievance cited several e-mails sent to players that, according to the union, “demonstrate his practice of bullying and threatening playeres, and his creation of a hostile, oppressive, and intimidating work environment.”
