Len Bias, the Maryland star who was named ACC player of the year in 1985 and 1986 before his tragic death, and longtime Terrapins radio voice Johnny Holliday will be inducted into the Washington Metropolitan Basketball Hall of Fame in a ceremony on Nov. 9, it was announced on Tuesday.

Former Washington Bullets star Phil Chenier, Georgetown radio announcer Rich Chvotkin, former Bullets GM Bob Ferry and longtime area high school coach Stu Vetter will also be inducted.

The ceremony starts at 6 p.m. on Nov. 9 and will be held at the North Bethesda Marriott Hotel and Conference Center. For ticket information, e-mail washmetbasketballhof@gmail.com.
