Maryland basketball to hold open practice, scrimmage Oct. 29

First-year Coach Mark Turgeon will give Terrapin fans a peek at his men’s basketball team Saturday Oct. 29 when the team holds an open practice and scrimmage from noon to 1 p.m. at Comcast Center. Maryland’s football team takes on Boston College that afternoon at 3 p.m.

The scrimmage is open to the public. Fans are advised to park in whatever lot they normally park for football games. Separate parking for the basketball scrimmage isn’t available.

The Terps will hold an exhibition against Northwood on Nov. 4, with the season-opener against UNC Wilmington following on Nov. 13.
