Maryland center Alex Len earned ACC Rookie of the Week honors following his fourth game of the season for the Terps.

Len recorded his first double-double in his debut in ACC play, scoring 12 points and adding 11 rebounds and two blocked shots in Maryland’s 79-74 loss at N.C. State Sunday.

In the Terps’ 70-62 victory over Cornell earlier in the week, the 7-1 center scored 15 points on 5-of-5 shooting and grabbed nine rebounds. Len is currently Maryland’s second leading scorer.

Virginia’s Mike Scott was named ACC Player of the Week for the third time in four weeks.
